Fall Protection - 4hrs This course is designed to provide an overview of OSHA’s safety standard Subpart M on Fall Protection for workers. During this course, information will be provided on how to comply with the standard, guidance for the qualified person in creating a fall protection plan and reviewing updated mandates including the new 2011 requirement for residential to comply with 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which requires use of fall protection equipment unless proved infeasible or poses a greater hazard. This will be enforced beginning June 16, 2011. Who should attend? Your designated, qualified person who will be responsible for the overall safety of the employees, identifying workplace hazards, training workers and designing and maintaining your fall protection plan where needed.
